acrobat is a leading fungicide of fmc with high demand from farmers on crops like potatoes & other vegetables. acrobat comprises of two active ingredients, mancozeb & dimethomorph. mancozeb interferes with enzymes containing sulphydryl groups, disrupting several biochemical processes within the fungal cell cytoplasm and mitochondria. dimethomorph is a systemic morpholine fungicide for use on vegetables. it inhibits the sterol (ergosterol) synthesis. morpholines are all systemic with curative and preventative qualities. dimethomorph was developed for downy mildews, late blights, crown and root rots for grapes, potatoes, tomatoes, and other vegetables.
